All students are required to have the proper dance attire, including shoes, after one month of lessons.  For class & recital purposes, DANCE EXPLOSION REQUIRES PINK LEATHER BALLET SHOES, TAN (low heel) TAP SHOES AND TAN JAZZ SHOES.  We do not allow black dance shoes in class or recital.  Please inquire as to which shoes are appropriate for your child’s age and class. Shoes and other miscellaneous dancewear items are available for purchase at the class location during registration and class times upon request.  Please see our shoe price schedule below.   Students enrolled in Ballet hour or hour and a half classes are expected to wear a black leotard, pink tights & hair secured in a bun.  Students enrolled in a combination class including ballet are expected to wear leotard & tights of any color/style.  Dance pants or leggings can be worn over leotard for the tap portion of the class.   Tap & Jazz combination and/or hip hop students may wear any type or style of dancewear of any color.  Students will not be permitted to wear jeans or jean shorts in class.  Stretch jeans are not considered dancewear. Street shoes are not permitted in class.

Assorted Dancewear is available at various prices. You may purchase dancewear & shoes from us or from any Dancewear store.  You are not required to purchase shoes and dancewear from us.  If you are making your purchases elsewhere, please be sure to get the correct colors & styles.
